Voted best adviser once again!

Choice Financial Solutions have been voted best for advice in Southampton by the Financial Times, this time the specific area of advice was Buy-to-Let Mortgages.

We have now been mystery shopped twice by this publication and have come out top on both occasions. We of course know that our standards are high but it is nice to have such a respected publication confirming it for us!

‘Choice’ on BBC Radio Solent

Our Director John Quaif has recently appeared on BBC Radio Solent and asked for his expert opinion on Pensions.

This is now our third radio appearance and it is great to be able to offer advice on such a wide scale and know that the BBC come to ‘Choice’ when they need an independent voice in Southampton.

A Financial Times publication recently tested the quality of advice and service from Southampton based IFA's. So who did they recommend?

Anyone can tell you how good they are, but it's only when you put the service to the test that you really find out who delivers what they promised. In December, Financial Adviser magazine (a Financial Times publication) carried out a mystery shopping exercise on adviser's in the Southampton area. They were assessing the level of service received, the quality and accuracy of the advice itself, and the knowledge, professionalism and friendliness of the adviser.

We have published the article here so you can see for yourself how we performed, but suffice to say the results speak volumes.

BBC Radio 5 Live interview

Do you ever listen to BBC Radio 5 "Drive Time" in the evenings?
If so you may have heard our Director, Chris Croake, interviewed in November.

There has been a lot of press coverage recently surrounding house prices increasing much faster than salaries. This trend has meant that first time buyers are finding it increasingly difficult to get onto the property ladder and purchase their first home.

Many lenders have reacted to this by relaxing their lending criteria and increasing the amounts they will offer new borrowers.

Radio 5 focused on this as part of their early evening news and current affairs programme. Chris was invited to participate in the programme, and offer his "expert" opinion and advice.

Following on from the programme, we had a number of enquiries from people seeking our advice. We were delighted to offer our assistance to these clients, and were able to help them all find the best solution for their circumstances.

Although we don't think Jeremy Paxman has too much to worry about yet, it was nice to be recognised on a national level, for providing quality Independent Mortage Advice.
